Letter to Senator Max Baucus

(This is a letter I sent to Max Baucus today upon hearing of taxpayer-funded trips to Asia for his girlfriend)

Mr. Baucus,

I struggle to put food on my table. Yep, we struggle for everything, even though I have graduate degrees, etc. Today, I learned that instead of keeping my hard earned money, that the money that you take from me under threat of imprisonment was used to finance bringing your girlfriend/staffer to Asia with you. I find that to be a criminal offense.

You force us to accept health insurance mandates we don't want (since the constitution states it's your job to make sure we are insured...(Oops! Don't get mad at me for mentioning the Constitution, I know you guys hate the document that was written to curb your corruption and guarantee our Liberty.) You want to find new ways to take my f*ing money, you want to use TARP loans for more spending, you want to cap and TAX carbon emissions even though we exhale CO2, and you want to use my money to take your girlfriend on trips with you. Like you have any business in Asia when we are facing a major economic crisis that you guys caused.

Were you going to visit our owners in China? What if we need to go to a real war to defend ourselves and China says we cannot attack that country or they will dump their dollar reserves onto the open market? What can we do? Either not fight or watch the dollar DIE. You guys have sold us to China.

No, I am not a Montanan. But I am an American and you cannot keep abusing my freaking money. Are we clear? What are you going to do when the states rise up and amend the Constitution (there's the nasty C word again; I must be a radical) to keep you guys from trying to harm and oppress us. Yes, Mr. Baucus, you're stealing from America to finance your ass-getting, and it DIRECTLY HARMS ME.

I will stop paying taxes and let you jail me before I go to work and sweat and bust my ass to let you use it to go get laid.

This has officially determined that you are corrupt. I know you won't go to jail, but neither will I for not paying taxes, since Rangel and Geithner didn't. Oh, but I am a peasant, not nobility like you, so I guess YOU are excused. Wait, you aren't excused. This is part of your trial by Americans, and the verdict will be read soon.

Pay back that money, and stay home for a while. Every day you are home, you cant be at work finding ways to steal and spend my paycheck. Tell the rest of the clowns and ignoramuses in office to do the same.

I used to look forward to the weekends so you can't spend my money for two days, but now you want to work those too. We can't afford for you mouth-breathers to work seven days per week. It is time to vote every last one of you out. It is coming.

Sincerely,

Me
